Beauty can be about a lot more than making yourself look attractive. Most of the best ways to improve your appearance are also ways to keep yourself healthy. To whiten and brighten your teeth, add a little baking soda to your toothbrush once a week. Just sprinkle a little baking soda in the palm of your hand, dampen your toothbrush and press the bristles into the baking soda, add toothpaste and brush your teeth as usual. Don’t do this more than once a week since baking soda can be hard on your tooth enamel if overused.



Add honey to your beauty treatments. It benefits your skin in many different ways, even when you consume it. Topically, mix with sugar to make a very effective scrub. Honey can also help your lotion to retain its moisture longer. A little bit of honey will leave hair looking and feeling great.

Add shimmer eye shadow to your beauty regiment. The shininess will help to give your eyes the appearance of being larger and brighter. Use a shade that is very close to your skin tone. Do not be afraid to experiment with different colors and application techniques.

Keep some fabric softener sheets on hand for beauty emergencies. Fabric sheets can be used to tame a static skirt that wants to stick you your hose. It can do the same for wild hair. Another thing it is good for is running through your hair to quell obnoxious odors like smoke.

Keep a small tube of hand cream in your purse to use as a hair tamer on a bad hair day. In the summer, use a tiny amount of hand cream, and run it through your hair; the tips of your fingers will tame the frizz. In the winter, put a dime-size amount of hand cream on your hands, and smooth it over your hair to eliminate static.

A luxurious day at a spa can be beneficial to overall beauty. The whole body will feel much better, and the inner self will be much more relaxed. A spa can be a nice way for one to take care of their skin and just feel better in general.
